Welcome to the Dickinson Historical Society Archives.

Over 20 years ago, the Dickinson Historical Society was founded as a 501(C)3 organization. Its first project was an ambitious one — to restore both the Dickinson and the League City train depots.  Today we continue our mission in preservation and education by maintaining these archives available to the public.  See a full list of our archive here.

Our Mission:

“The Dickinson Historical Society is a volunteer organization that is dedicated to the education and preservation of the history of Dickinson and the surrounding area.”

Our Vision:

We strive to become a leader in preservation for Dickinson and the surrounding community for education.
